                     DIRECTOR’S WELCOME ADDRESS

 I welcome you on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, the Governing Board members and the Staff of the University of Ilorin to the Centre for Open and Distance Learning [CODL], University of Ilorin, Nigeria. I am delighted to inform you that the Centre has the Federal Government of Nigeria’s endorsement as licensed by the National Universities Commissions (NUC) to operate.

My administration is dedicated to actualizing the vision of the Centre which is to be an excellent international Centre for open and distance learning, research, probity, and service to humanity. We also aim to provide flexible and accessible life-long education propelled by ICT to learners without prejudice to religion, race, colour, gender or social status.

It is important to bring to your awareness that we have an organized set of veterans, well trained Professors, Administrators, e-tutors, and Learner Supports Staff, which will ensure quality delivery of service and promote equity with the conventional mode of university education.
